Major Industries Training Advisory Council is a not for profit organisation funded by the Northern Territory Government.
We provide information, advice and services to the Northern Territory Government, industry, training providers and the public on vocational training and related issues.
The industries under our scope include some of the major drivers of the Northern Territory economy such as mining, construction and utilities.
A Voice for Industry
We rely on consulting with businesses large and small to discover the issues affecting the recruitment, skills development and retention of employees.
We attempt to present industry needs to government thus enabling a coherent strategy for industry growth. If you would like to become one of our key consultants or join one of our industry committees then please contact us.

Training.gov.au is the official National Register of information on Training Packages, Qualifications, Courses, Units of Competency and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and has been developed for experienced training sector users.
New to the training sector?
ElectroComms and Energy Utilities and Industry Skills Council Ltd Trading as E-Oz Training standards is the Australian Government declared Industry Skills Council for the ElectroComms and EneryUtilities Industries. E-Oz Traing Standars is the body responsible for developing and maintaining the National Qualifications within the National Training Packages under its coverage. These include the Electrotechnology, Gas, Elecitity Supply Industry - Transmission, Distribution adn Rail and the Electricity Supply Industry - Generation Training Packages.
E-Oz Training Standards also works closely with other Industry Skills Councils (ISCs) to ensure all industries across Australia have a strong voice in the vocational education and training system. To learn more about other industries Click Here
