MITAC maintains a job vacancy database that is based on the adverts appearing in the Saturday edition of the NT News. The database was started in March 2009 and now has 2 years worth of history.
Data is collected for 122 job types in 7 Industry Areas:
* Civil Construction
* Construction
* Electrotechnology
* Furnishing
* Training
* Mining & Drilling
* Telecommunication
* Apprentices
Whilst not an exhaustive list of the vacancies in the Northern Territory it does show some interesting trends and we are keen to see if they reflect what's happening in your business.

It is interesting to note that after a quiet period the Mining Industry is starting to look for people such as Mining Engineers. Geologists and Surveyers again.
